Best Laptops under Rs 50,000
1. Asus F570ZD DM226T
Summary
If you’re looking for serious gaming in this budget you need a GPU that can actually play games at a decent frame rate at decent settings. We’re talking about the 1050 and this Asus is the only laptop that offers it. It also comes with a Ryzen processor which has close to the performance of an i5 8200 and offers 8GB RAM, Windows 10, and a full HD display. All of this under 2kg.

2. Asus X507UF-EJ101T
1TB HDD
Summary
The Asus X507UF-EJ101T has a lot going for it. What, you ask? Well, the 8th gen i5 processor, full HD display, one of the best graphics card in this budget, and Windows 10. What more do you want? This is one of the best value-for-money offerings that weighs just 1.7kg. Oh, and lastly, did you see those gorgeous thin bezels? We’re sold. Also, if we were you, we’d get the SSD version since those things make a huge difference between performance. Trust us, it’s worth it.

Pros and Cons
Dell Inspiron 5575
Summary
Here’s a Dell with a Ryzen. This one comes with a decent processor and GPU and packs a full HD display and Windows 10 along with it. Hey, it has MS Office too. However, you can get the same configuration minus MS Office from Asus, Lenovo, and Acer for as low as 35k. No, we aren’t joking.

ASUS X505ZA-EJ274T
Summary
ASUS X505ZA is a mean machine. It comes with the Ryzen 2500U, which is comparable to the i5 8250 (give or take 10% performance). Also, it is equipped with ultra-thin bezels, 8GB RAM, full HD display, Windows 10, and Vega 8. Is there anything that this laptop doesn’t have? Oh and all of this weighs just 1.6kg.

Pros and Cons
Our recommendation on choosing the best laptops under Rs 50,000 for gaming:
To be very frank, none of these graphics cards will be able to handle current generation games at acceptable frame rates on high settings. However, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to run games at all. Most of the games should run fine at low-med settings, while older ones might even run well on high settings.
MX150 is the best card under Rs 50,000 that can offer a decent gaming experience. We recommend prioritizing GPU over RAM, CPU, and everything else since it is GPU that is likely to be the bottleneck. Vega 8 has gotten better in recent games compared to the 940MX. 130MX is better than both of them though. The M520, M440, M430 and the likes offer entry-level gaming performance.
For architecture and designing needs, M530, M520, 920M should all work just fine, so you can concentrate on other things like RAM, CPU, and size.
Goes without saying get the 8th gen Core i5, since it is better not only on performance but even on battery life compared to the previous generation. Ryzen 2500U follows with approx. 90% of the performance while the 7200U comes in third.
1080p displays offer far superior visuals and we recommend such laptops, even if they’re a bit expensive.
That doesn’t mean that these laptops aren’t any good for office or other needs and these are the most powerful laptops available under Rs 50,000. So these can be termed as the best laptops under Rs 50,000 for college students and working professionals too. Lastly, we recommend Windows 10.
Depending on your requirements, we’ve made a list below that details the best options across varied priorities (click against the name to jump to detailed specs above):
